Welcome to the Florida Association for Food Protection (FAFP)!

I am delighted to extend a warm welcome to all of you as we embark on another promising year with FAFP. As your newly elected president, I am honored to lead this esteemed organization and excited about the year ahead. 

As we enter 2024, we have set ambitious goals aimed at enhancing the FAFP experience for all members. Our focus continues to be on providing continuing education, and networking activities to the food safety community throughout Florida. With your continued support, through memberships, sponsorships, and attending our events, I am confident that we can achieve these objectives and make 2024 another successful year for FAFP.

Our main event is our Annual Educational Conference (AEC). With this event we aim to create an environment rich in networking opportunities and professional development. We look forward to seeing you all there as attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, or presenters. Your participation in this event makes it a success each year. This year’s AEC is in St Pete on May 14-16th. 

We recognize the importance of continued opportunities for meaningful interactions and knowledge sharing throughout the year. To meet this challenge, we are planning three educational luncheons to take place throughout the state. Dates can be found on the Registrations page of this website. 

As always, we recognize the importance of our corporate sponsors to the success of our organization. It is through their financial support that we are able to provide student scholarships and travelships; support awards at the State Science and Engineering Fair; FAFP professional awards; and maintain lower costs at our events for all members.
